In 2014 Beverly Patterson set out to make a crunchy and flavorful low sodium pickle because her husband, Lou, has high blood pressure. Lou loves pickles and Bev, being the home canner she is, couldn't see him suffer without his favorite food. 

The addition of Lou's hobby of smoking meats gave rise to the Smoked Habanero Pickle and the Smoked Garlic & Dill Pickle.

To this day we don't just rest on the "old standard pickles". We are constantly pushing the boundaries on new flavors, such as our new Summer Garden Mix available in Sweet and Sweet & Spicy!
